Ares free download will not tax your computer resources, but it does have minimum system requirements. You need at least 64 MB of RAM, 5 MB of disk space and at least a 233 megahertz processor. To install, double-click the .exe file and follow the instructions. Click “Next” when you are prompted and finally, click “Install.” Save the file in an easy to access location.
It’s easy to locate the file you want by using the Ares download search box. For general searching, type the title, artist or author of the file and click “Search.” For a more customized search, select the type of file under “File Description.” If you’re looking for an MP3 file for example, select “music file.” Simultaneous search is also supported. Just open a new Ares tab and type a new keyword in the search field.
You’ll get a list of results—often extensive—depending on what file you are looking for. Before selecting a file to download, make sure to check the file quality and download speed. Some results that appear at the top of the list don’t always work and can be corrupt files. You can test an MP3 while it is downloading by using the built-in media player. When you have selected the file from the list, click the “download” button. A prompt will ask you to select a destination folder to save your file in.
Occasionally, Ares Galaxy will return zero results or a limited list. This usually means the file you are looking for is rare, unpopular or is not shared by anyone in the Ares network. To show more results, try changing the keywords in the search field. For example, instead of the song title, enter the name of the artist.
How to Download Movies with Ares – Ares Download
Ares download makes it possible for users to share videos, home movies and films with others on the Ares network. However, many people take it for granted that certain films shared on the network are protected by copyright. This means that you need the copyright owner’s permission before you can share it with other P2P users. Failing to do so can lead to fines and even criminal prosecution. Be sure to read up on copyright laws before downloading proprietary material.
The process of downloading films is similar to downloading music and documents. Use the search box to enter relevant keywords to locate the file you want. Choose “Video File” under “File Description” to show only video results and click “Enter.” Again, you will get a list of results whose length depends on the keywords you used. If you are not getting the files you want, try changing the keywords to be less specific.
Not all files are guaranteed to work, and you may need to do a bit of sifting to get what you want. Always look for files with the best quality and high download speed. When you’re ready, click the “Ares Download” button and select a folder to save the file in. Video files are usually large, so do not expect for the download to finish as quickly as an MP3 download. You can start a new search or use the chat room while you wait.
